Playdate With Alisha

Today, Trisha made a new friend. She's Alisha, daughter of Daddy's colleague. Alisha is 18 months old and a very sweet and quiet girl. Alisha's mummy and daddy invited us over to their house to let the girls play together. Initially, Trisha and Alisha were very shy, both tend to bend their heads down when they saw the strangers (us adults) but very soon, they warmed up and were playing....on their own....heheh.

There's a cat in the house and Trisha was fascinated with it and was bending down, looking at the cat and following the cat around until the cat went to sleep on the massage chair. Trisha then came over to us and said "sleeping cat". =)

The girls didn't really played together but rather, played side by side amicably. Trisha did sometimes went over to Alisha and took the toy teacups and plates from Alisha. Hmm....we have to teach her not to "snatch" other children's toys and ask nicely or wait for her turn. This is something which we need to observe during playdates and educate her.

Then we started putting them together to take photos and asked Trisha (the less shy girl) to hug and kiss Alisha. We think our dear girl gave Alisha a shock cos she kept wanting to get away from Trisha. =p

We had nasi lemak for lunch at their place and were very happy Trisha ate without problem except that Mummy had to run around chasing her to eat. Overall, Trisha had a fun time playing with Alisha and we had a good time chit chatting with Fariny and Saiful. We'll definitely arrange another playdate again soon!
