Rothenburg Ob der Tauber is a small town with a old city center. It was like walking through a medieval town again with all it's quaint architecture. It was so small that we more or less see 80% of the sights within an hour. The best meal of the trip was consumed here. A Japanese meal in the middle of nowhere! We were surprised to find Japanese food and at quite affordable prices. The icing on the cakew as that it's delicious even for a simple Chicken Teriyaki and Grilled Salmon. =) It was a very satisfying lunch. =)
After Rothenburg Ob der Tauber, we drove on to Wurzburg which is a much bigger city than Rothenburg Ob der Tauber. There were more sights but again it's churches, bridges, fortresses, etc. However, the building still look so different from what we have seen so it's not boring...heheh...=p
Our hotel was right next to the River but alas, we didn't get a river view room. =( It was however very close to the city center and we spent the rest of our trip enjoying the city sights. =) As Daddy will be driving the whole day to get us home tomorrow, we had an early night again. This shall be our last night in Germany and we are already missing it! =)
