Germany Day 1

Today we are driving to Germany. Germany and Holland share a border and hence it's pretty easy to drive from Holland to Germany. From where we stay, it took us about 3 hours to get to a lovely city called Cologne in Germany. That's our first stop in our 8 days Germany road trip.

We started off at about 10am and reached Cologne at about 2pm (with a lunch stop along the highway). The weather was not good at all and started raining when we are touring the city. However, we did managed to catch the impressive huge cathedral, Cologne Dom, a landmark in Cologne. Along the way, we also visited the Farina House. This is where the Eau de Cologne originated from. Before we end our day, we took a river cruise along the River Rhine. It was still raining hence the pictures didn't turn out as good as expected. Nevertheless, we had a good start to our holiday! Oh, the hotel room is great too! =)
