Fireworks

Same as last year, there were fireworks at midnight to usher in the new year right in front of our apartment. In Holland, it's legal to light fireworks for a few days in the new year.

Last year, Trisha slept through all the bangs and flashes of the fireworks going all around our apartment. This year, she woke up.....frightened at first but we decided that since she's awake, might as well let her see the colourful fireworks and know what's causing all the noise and light. =)

Her reactions were so cute. She'll point at the fireworks and go "Wah! Wah!" or "Good, good". After sometime, we felt her legs trembling and realised she could be frightened by the noise even though she's enthralled by the lights, so time to go back to bed. Luckily she slept pretty soundly afterwards. =)
