Countdown To Singapore

Time really flies. We've been here since Nov'07 in what was supposed to be a 4 year assignment. Due to our own wishes as well as the tough economic environment, Daddy's assignment has been shortened by half.

We've just over 1 week here before we head back to Singapore for home leave. Mummy and Trisha will stay back in Singapore while Daddy goes back to The Netherlands for just over a month to handover his work. Overall, it has been a wonderful experience. To live in a different culture and environment, experience the 4 seasons, lots of travelling, new friends, independence. And the most amazing experience that money can't buy, the joy of watching our little princess grow up.

The lifestyle in The Netherlands is really exceptional for having a work/life balance. We're pysching ourselves for the Singapore time schedules again. Having had a 2 year long 'vacation', it's now back to longer working hours and a more stressful lifestyle. However, we're looking forward to get back into the loop with all our family and friends, something we've missed very much over the last 2 years. Homeward bound! =)
