Rotterdam was the first place we went to. We specifically wanted to go to Euromast and had been keeping that for my grandparents' trip over. After which we made our way to Kinderdijk to see the windmills. It was a pretty relaxing day for everyone except Daddy cos he's the driver and while everyone was napping in the car, he had to be awake. Poor Daddy but he told me he didn't mind at all! =)
It was drizzling when we reached Euromast but as it's near to lunchtime and we were so lucky that there was a Chinese restaurant "De Gouden Wok" nearby, we popped in to satisfy our hunger pangs first. Boy, the lunch was great! We even had the whole BIG restaurant to ourselves as it's a Tuesday and it seemed there wasn't much of a lunch crowd at all! Guess the main business still comes from dinner customers for this restaurant.
We spent about 1 hour at the Euromast. It just like any other tower that gives a bird's eye view of that city. But it was very cold up here cos the wind was very strong and we were out in the open air at the top. So we hurriedly went into the Euroscoop, an enclosed rotating elevator to the 185 m high top of the Euromast. We could sit down in the elevator and enjoy the view. This was the only unique difference from other such towers we had visited before. Quite a good experience actually. So we finally checked off another place in Holland worth at least a visit. =)

It started pouring on our way to Kinderdijk, hence the visit was not as pleasant as the last time we were there with 奶奶 and Aunty KC. In the end we spent less than 30mins there and only took a few shots before hurrying back to our car. Sigh, what a disappointment. =(
