Bad(?) Behaviours

Behaviour Type #1 - 管家婆

We were shopping and some shoes, clothes were on the floor of the shop. Trisha will always say "Daddy/Mummy, pick up". If we don't do so, she'll keep repeating her request louder and louder each time till we abide with her wishes. We become part time cleaners (picking up rubbish, cleaning the cafe tables, etc) when we go out with her.

Behaviour Type #2 - Mine! Mine!

To her, everything is hers. She sees us holding something she wants, she'll go "mine! mine!" and stretches out her hands to grab from us. Even the TV is hers. Whenever Daddy changes channels (from her cartoons to his news), you will definitely hear her scream "MY TV! MY TV! CARTOONS!"

(We are trying to use these instances to teach her about sharing)

Behaviour Type #3 - Tyrant/霸道

When we are reading our magazines/books/surfing net in the study while she's happily reading her own books/watching her favourite cartoons, she'll suddenly come over and say "no reading" or "Mummy, go outside" (pulling Mummy out of study room to living room to watch TV with her) or "off computer".

Behaviour Type #4 - Faking cough

Everytime she coughs, Mummy will tell her "oh, cough cough, drink some water". This has become a habit to her that now she likes to fake her cough and ask to drink water. We don't mind it so much in the day but nowadays at bedtime, she kept giving us her fake cough and asking umpteen times to drink water. It could be exasperating for whoever is getting her to sleep.
