One of my worst nightmares has happened!
I cut her right thumb while trimming her nails. =( A piece of flesh with lots of blood (ok, maybe I exaggerated a bit but there is blood and to a Mummy, it's a lot!). I FEEL SO GUILTY! My heart is bleeding while her thumb bled. =( Luckily, she seemed oblivious to the cut and didn't cry at all. Otherwise, I'll feel even worse. =(
So we put a small plaster on her injured thumb and let her wear her mittens to prevent her from sucking on the thumb. She seems to like the taste of the mittens and in no time, it was wet with saliva from her sucking.
Sigh....I hope the thumb recovers soon.....
