Breakdown @ Tampines

Daddy and Mummy brought me to a Malay wedding Today! Venue was at Siglap CC, and weather was hot! It was so noisy that I can't nap properly. >=|

On the way back, we dropped by Tampines, intending to go to Tampines Mall to shop for more comfy bedsheets from Aussino. Carpark was full though, it seems like most "Tampinese" had the same idea.

Since it was almost feeding time, we decided to head home. Now the route back involves going through Tampines Road, quite 'ulu'. After exiting the TPE, the engine just died on prodding the accelerator. Luckily, Daddy managed to pull into a busbay...but the car decided that it was enough for the day, and we were in the middle of nowhere!

Called the tow truck to come but weather was pretty hot and it was expected to take nearly an hour. Luckily, we managed to hail a cab so that Mummy and I can both go home and rest. So much for Toyota reliability! And to think we just had the car serviced! =(

No transport to work on Monday for Daddy... =( The good news is that Daddy won't have to squeeze with the other 50,000 cars using the CTE in the evening. =p
